This is my messy side of our office, won't show the neat side (my wife's). I cropped out the worst of the mess. Someday I plan to build a custom desk for us (kind of W shaped), but there is always something else that takes priority.

My desk is in a 10 x 11 foot room at one end of our basement. When seated at the desk, Rocky is 8 feet to my left on the other side of a wall.

Those of you who call your setups "cluttered" have no idea what "cluttered" is. I have so much random stuff piled on my desk it's a wonder I can do anything on it (It's also why I'm not posting a pic...suffice to say I tend to rank gaming higher up on the proverbial list than tidying my desk.)

Don't you believe it! To the right off my pic is my electronics table, loaded with test gear, tools, bits of wire, solder splodges, tea cups, remnants of biscuits, bits of paper, radios and heaps of things in various stages of dismemberment. My wife won't go within 2 metres of it, s'funny my mum did the same 5 decades ago!
