They're Kef LS50s, possibly the finest standmount short of 2 grand and they sound sublime. <3 The amp doesn't do them justice though, that's next on the upgrade list.

Those Kefs are indeed great, you do need an amp with a lot of available current and headroom to drive them though, had a similar pair some years ago 8)

Yes I have an old Yamaha DSP AX620 putting out 90 watts per channel at the moment. It's reasonable but it's an AV amp so not the best for 2 channel. There's a few amps around the £800 - £1000 mark I'm interested in at the moment like the Cambridge Audio CXA80, or the Rega Elex-R. Going to line up some auditions in the coming months.
